[* black] After you have mastered shimming to this point thereThere is a more advanced shimming technique where the bevel gear is shimmedthat allows you to fit perfectly withprecisely align the pinion gear(akagear(AKA the motor gear) but thatwith the bevel gear for optimum performance. This technique requires you to either putmount the pistol grip with motor installed on to the gearbox and testwhile it is outside of the gun in order to observe how the gearbox or have a gearbox like a version 3 that has motor cageengages the bevel gear.
[* black] YouTo do this, you would also need to be able veiwattach your gun's pistol grip or motor mount to the bevelgearbox and pinion gear making contact. This may require you to drill a hole oncheck the sidepositioning of the gearbox to view this interaction depending onbevel gear with the type of gearboxmotor engaged. You would then remove the motor and try to replicate that positioning using shims.
[* black] I am just mentioning this step tootechnique to appease the hardcore tuners out therethere, but this technique very time consuming and not practical for fast repair shop technicians, buttechnicians. However, for those going forof you who are building high speed or high velocity set upsguns, it is highly recommend to learnrecommended.
