+[* red] Using a phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the two screws holding the fan assembly onto the unit.
+[* black] Carefully unplug the fan connector from the socket, depicted in the second picture.
[* icon_note] The controller connector panel can be pulled up (GENTLY) from the main unit and laid down, as depicted. This is not strictly required, but may provide more maneuverability inside the case.
-[* black] Remove the two screws holding the fan assembly onto the unit using a Philips #2 screwdriver as shown.
-[* black] Carefully unplug the fan connector from the socket.
-[* icon_caution] DO NOT pull the wires to disconnect the fan! The picture shown is intended only to illustrate the connector in question. Pulling the wires may damage the connector, the wires, or even the PCB.
