[* red] Unscrew the two screws holding the fan assembly onto the unit using a Philips #2 screwdriver as shown.
-[* green] Carefully remove the red and black wiring assembly from the fan unit by gently pulling the tan connector away from the fan as shown.
+[* green] Carefully unplug the tan connector from the socket. Do not pull on the wires (as shown), but pull on the connector itself.
