| [* black] Disconnect 2 ribbons, one on top of the other, on the bottom right hand side of the lens. Lift the ribbon carrying the sockets from its retaining pins and ease the ribbon out of its guides, removing a piece of sticky tape. | |
| [* black] Gently pull the ribbon connections off the motor. | |
| [* black] Remove 4 screws from the edges of the lens rear plate. Release a clip near the motor in order to lift off the rear plate. Note that it’s still attached by ribbon cables, and care must be taken not to strain these too much. | |
