[* red] 2005-2007 Ford Freestyle, Ford 500, and Mercury Montego with "Front AC" (most) require 29 ounces of R-134A refrigerant. Vehicles optioned with "Front and Rear AC" require 38 ounces of refrigerant. Capacities are stated on thisa decal located onatop the radiator core support.
[* black] R-134A refrigerant is available at Wal Mart or any auto parts store in common 12 oz cans. Avoid "Stop Leak" types and stick with basicuntreated R-134A refrigerant. You will need a dispenser like like the one shown here by EZ Chill, another Wal Mart item.

[* black] Refrigerant cans are designed to be attached to a dispenser full and removed from the dispenser only when empty. Proceed to thread the first can of refrigerant onto the dispenser. The dispenser is designed to pierce and seal the can.
