-[* black] Gently lift the digitizer ribbon cable away from the adhesive.
-[* icon_note] The ribbon cable may be hot to the touch. You may use a nylon spudger to gently free the ribbon cable.
+ [* icon_note] The Nexus 5X pictured here does not have a layer of electrical tape over the digitizer panel. If this tape is present on your device, simply peel it away from the plastic frame to free the digitizer panel.
