First, you need to remove the back cover. Flip over the laptop and remove all the screws. Keep each size screw separate. There are 10 short M2 perimeter screws, 2 large M2 keyboard screws, 2 large M2 screws near the hinges, and 1 large M2 center screw.

Once the screws are removed, you can open up the cover. Using a flat spudger, begin to pry open the cover near one of the hinges. Work your way around with the spudger and your fingers, loosening the cover until it comes free.
