Remove the stretch-release adhesive strips

The battery is secured using four stretch-release adhesive strips. Each strip ends with a black pull-tab along the outer edges of the battery.
Use the flat edge of a spudger or your fingers to carefully peel up a black pull-tab from the top of the battery.
Be careful not to puncture the battery with your tool.
