Create a gap

  • Be aware that a sharp tool easily scratches your watch housing when not handled with care. To avoid undesired scratches, take your time and work carefully rather than hastily.

  • Place the edge of a curved blade into the thin gap between the display and the outer case. Start at the short side of the display, most distant to the digital crown.

  • Once inserted, tilt the blade to pry the display open slightly and create a gap between the screen and the watch body.

  • The Apple Watch Series 7 display is equipped with a plastic bezel on its rear side. If you want to reuse your display, avoid using too much pressure with the knife or you may separate the bezel from the screen.

Einen Spalt erzeugen

Wenn du mit einem scharfen Werkzeug nicht sehr vorsichtig arbeitest, kann das Uhrengehäuse leicht zerkratzt werden. Um solche Kratzer zu vermeiden, solltest du langsam und behutsam arbeiten.

Setze eine gebogene Klinge in die schmale Naht zwischen dem Display und dem äußeren Gehäuse ein. Beginne an der am weitesten von der digitalen Krone entfernten kurzen Seite des Displays.

Wenn die Klinge eingesetzt ist, dann heble mit ihr das Display leicht auf, so dass ein Spalt zwischen dem Display und der restlichen Uhr entsteht.

Bei der Apple Watch 7 ist das Display auf der Rückseite mit einer Kunststoffblende ausgestattet. Wenn du das Display wiederverwenden willst, dann vermeide es, mit dem Werkzeug zu stark zu drücken, sonst könnte sich das Display von der Blende trennen.
