Soften the remaining stretch-release adhesive

  • This step shows how to soften any stretch-release adhesives that broke off in the previous step.

  • Apply several drops of highly-concentrated isopropyl alcohol (over 90%) to the inside edges of the batteries near any broken strips of stretch-release adhesive.

  • Elevate each edge of the iPad to allow the isopropyl alcohol to flow under the batteries.

  • Wait one minute for the isopropyl alcohol to penetrate.

Verzwak de uitrekbare kleefstrips

In deze stap zie je hoe je de uitrekbare kleefstrips die afgebroken zijn alsnog kunt verwijderen.

Druppel wat isopropylalcohol (>90%) aan de binnenkant van de batterij, in de buurt van de strips die afgebroken of gescheurd zijn.

Til alle kanten van de iPad een keer omhoog zodat de alcohol zich goed onder de batterij verspreidt.

Geef de alcohol een minuut de tijd om de lijm te verzwakken.
