1 단계 — Sawing to open the housing

Saw the lamp along the ultrasonic welding seam with a fine saw (e.g. Japanese saw).

2 단계 — Open housing

The housing should fall apart into two halves after sawing

3 단계 — Remove battery

Pull the old battery out of the socket

4 단계 — Disassemble & recycle battery

Under the black foil there are two Li-Io cells in AAA size.

5 단계 — Prepare new batteries

Buy 2x ICR10440 with solder tag

6 단계 — Soldering and packing new batteries together

The outer solder lugs are soldered to the sheet metal (paper clip as soldering aid).

7 단계 — Assembly / Mounting

Plug the power connector into the socket of the board

8 단계 — Bonding the housing

Apply glue carefully along the contour (e.g. Sikaflex)

9 단계 — Ready, function test

Clip the lamp into the holder
