  • With the cover lid unscrewed we can push out the source of rotary motion and discover a small circular board behind the rear cover of the motor.

  • Besides distributing power it also has three sensors (every fourth coil) for measuring the speed.

  • 12 coils on the outer ring make the 10 magnets on the center spindle go round and round–260 times per minute. The motor has a continuous output power of 180W and 7.3 Nm of torque.

  • The three gears on the flip side are made of plastic to keep abrasion to a minimum.

Nabenmotor

Nachdem wir den Deckel abgeschraubt haben, können wir die Quelle der Kreisbewegung heraus drücken. Hinter der Rückabdeckung entdecken wir eine kleine Platine in Form eines schmalen Ringes.

Abgesehen von der Stromversorgung regelt die Platine auch die Geschwindigkeit mit ihren drei Sensoren (eine an jeder vierten Spule).

12 Spulen auf dem äußeren Ring schubsen die 10 Magneten auf der Spindel im Kreis herum – 260 Mal pro Minute. Der Motor hat eine Leistung von 180 W und 7,3 Nm Drehmoment.

Die drei Zahnräder auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite sind aus Kunststoff, um den Abrieb zu minimieren.
