  • Front and center on the display PCB, we find a Parade DP655—the same LCD timing controller found on the Air 1 display.

  • Rohm BR24T16-W 16 Kb serial EEPROM memory

  • In Apple's press release announcing the iPad 5, they told us it comes equipped with a "brighter 9.7-inch Retina display."

  • Our question is: brighter than what? It doesn't look that different from the Air 1's display. If they mean brighter than the Air 2, then that may simply be due to reverting to the unfused display design of the Air 1.

Une fois retourné à l'écran, nous n'apercevons aucune opportune marque de fabricant cette fois-ci.

LG, comment allez-vous ?

Sur le devant et au milieu du circuit imprimé de l'écran, nous trouvons un Parade DP655 - le même contrôleur de synchronisation LCD que celui trouvé sur l'écran de l'Air 1.

Dans le communiqué de presse d'Apple annonçant l'iPad 5, on nous annonçait qu'il était équipé d'un «écran Retina de 9,7 pouces encore plus brillant».

Notre question est : plus brillant que quoi ? Il ne semble pas vraiment différent de l'écran de l'Air 1. Si cela signifie plus brillant que l'Air 2, il se peut simplement que cela soit dû au retour à la conception non fusionnée d'écran de l'Air 1.
