내 문제

My old 2009 iMac crashed and after a visit to apple could not fix my "obsolete" computer it looked like the hard drive died. Having photos and stuff on it I used the iFixit guide to remove the hard drive. When I used an external USB connector the hard drive started working and worked when I replace . . .

For someone that has replaced Hard Drives on a Macbook Pro, this fix was pretty easy. The hardest part would be getting the screen off and on by yourself. It was a little cumbersome to try and not touch the LCD while detaching/reattaching the cables.

The 1TB hard drive crashed and I reformatted and restored it but then it crashed again about a day or two later.

Very well for a novice at this type of repair.

Great instructions. Could have used info on material to use in replacing the heat sensor to the HD. I used a silicon paste, but wasn't sure this was the right answer. Seems to work fine.
