Saved over $500!

iPhone 4 was dead. Took it to AT&T. They didn't know why it didn't work but offered to sell me a new one even though I was not eligible for an upgrade. So, it was going to cost me over $500 to upgrade! I decided to go online and see if I could fix the phone myself. That's where I found IFIXIT.

I followed the instructions on the video, installed the new battery and viola, the phone worked!!!

내 조언

A video with a more detailed view of the iPhone battery connection would have helped. Particularly the alignment of the little antenna(?) piece. Also, something about the connection to the battery must be folded for proper alignment. Other than that, the process was successful and rewarding. Thanks!
