Iphone 6 screen replacement- Easy repair but substandard screen

Screen was shattered after a fall.

I found this repair to be relatively easy and fast however Ive replaced the battery in this phone before so many of the steps were familiar.

Know that if you buy a screen from Ifixit that the part may not be as good as the original Apple part...

If you take a look at the photo of the screen after I replaced it you can see that there is an L shaped spot that looks discolored when the phone displays white on the screen. Im not sending it back b/c I really dont feel like removing it, sending it, and then putting another one back on.

Ive been very happy with the parts Ive gotten from Ifixit in the past but this one was subpar.
