Following directions, repair went great. Be prepared for it to take at least two hours, have a good lighting source and a safe place to store very small screws. Cable itself is somewhat difficult to work with.

The hardest part is the mute switch. There is a small pad that needs to be positioned correctly on the external plastic switch body and the mute switch needs to fit into a small opening in the external plastic switch body. I could never get it right until I used a tiny bit of glue from the battery to hold the pad in place and to hold the switch in the correctly aligned position. After that, no problem.
