Thanks for the followup. As usual its right on time. First, I forgot to take pictures. Bad Gee!!! However the fan transplant went off without a hitch. I am so happy I could hardly control my internet experience. I now have to actually look at my system to tell it on rather than listen for the jet engine noise I had to endure at startup.

Funny story, as you’ll remember you provided parts and upgrade instructions last year when I decided to upgrade to a 750 Gb hard drive. So you can imagine how deflated I was to hear noise coming from my MacBook Pro.

Sadly, I went back to your site to purchase a new drive and download the instructions once again. Taking comfort in the warranty you offered, I put myself in a “I can do this again” state of mind. As I pulled up the installations instructions, I made a startling discovery. I looked at the photo and noticed my hard drive was on the other side from where the noise was coming from. I almost wet my pants in excitement. It’s just a stupid fan I screamed out...I’ve never been so happy about replacing a part in my life. LOL
