iPhone battery replaced

Took over my daughter's iphone 4 after she moved on to the latest model. Of course since she was a young person who used her phone at least 16 hours per day, the battery was getting to the point of not holding a charge. I knew I could replace the battery as a retired computer tech, so a few minutes on the net and I found Ifixit and their solution.

Went extremely well. The instructions were spot on in regards to removing the Apple screws and gently prying the battery up from the sticky material under the battery. Replaced the Apple screws with standard Phillips screws furnished by Ifixit and powered up the phone. Piece of Cake!

Don't hesitate, anyone can do this and save a trip to the Apple store. By the way, the shipping time for the battery arrival was outstanding.
