Share and Repair started its first Repair Cafe in April 2017 and since that time has seen over 1500 items mending 70% on average. we now hold a Repair Cafe every Saturday in different locations and in March this year we will have 8 operating each month, including UNiversity of Bath and soon Bath Spa University. In addition we open a Library of Things from Wednesday - Saturday to allow people to borrow power tools, less used household items, camping and gardening equipment. This project is growing and needs more tools and items when it will move into an empty central Bath shop.
We also run 'HOW TO' Workshops to up-skill people and encourage them to do more for themselves.
We are a local community group, run entirely by volunteers, we have an application to the charity Commission to become a registered charity. we have a management team of 9.
We rely on donations and small grants.
