Update: Save yourself some trouble by using a 8mm socket wrench on these screws or purchase a #2 JIS screwdriver (Japanese Industrial Standards) to avoid cam-outs. I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner.
Thanks for the guide, everything worked out fine. Swapped in a SSD with no problems. BTW one of the steps needs a #000 Phillips screwdriver, and I didn't use the spacer that came included with my SSD drive.
