I viewed your clip and it sounds like the disc is scratching against the flat part of the bay. Try adjusting the height of the spindle. It should spin smoothly after doing so. Your video shows that the spindle is pushed way too down. The top part of the spindle must be at the same height as the “needle”. Btw the part you removed must spin with the circle underneath it. Apply a small amount of super glue without applying some to the rubber part. Doing so will ruin the CD locking mechanism. Or just buy another spindle but this time, use a flat object when installing to perfectly align it.

It can be found on the left side of the console. Put the shell back together to avoid electric shock. If there were no display but the drive is spinning, replace the AV cable. The LED light is only an indicator for the power supply that it is on and not the motherboard.

The latest redsn0w application (version 0.9.15 beta 3) gives you an option to downgrade from iPad baseband under the Jailbreak section. Assuming you currently have iPad baseband installed (06.15.00), you should tick the box "Downgrade from iPad baseband" then proceed with the normal jailbreak operation (Uncheck everything but Downgrade). If it gives an error, go to Extras then select "Browse" and point the file to a stock IPSW. Redo the steps above and this will fix your baseband issue. If the first solution didn't work, try booting the phone in DFU (or pwned DFU if it failed). iTunes will then tell you that it detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Perform a normal Restore and this may fix the issue. To check if the downgrade was...
