Weihan Zhang is a master’s student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Duke University. She earned her Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical and electronic information engineering at the Dalian University of Technology in China. Weihan joined the Internet of Things project at the Chinese Academy of Science during which she compiled a detection algorithm of a multiple-input and multiple-output System. At the same time, she published an inventive patent for a sphere-based efficient detection method. She worked as an intern at Dalian Software Park to build a digital system, which is applied in home automation.
