Remove the two screws hidden by tape and use a plastic prying tool to carefully separate the bezel from the lid. There is a thin line of adhesive on the bottom of the screen. Take care when separating that part. ALSO NOTE, before you disconnect any cables, you will have to remove the battery and power cord or you risk blowing a fuse. See first part of video for removing battery. I fixed my hinge/lid issue by soldering the broken flimsy hinge arm, drilling holes through the three places where the screws were, replaced the 3 screws with 3 bolts inserted through original screw holes using the original nuts as spacers (they had become detached from the plastic seats which had also broken), and attached nuts on the back side of the lid.
