Engineering Technology with a focus in Microprocessor Systems and Automation and Control Systems. I chose this major because I love to build things in this vein for fun, and once I found out it was a major I couldn’t believe how lucky I was.
I would like to use my abilities to make the world a better place for other people.
Embedded Systems, Micro-controllers, Woodworking, Automation, Fixing/upgrading computers ( Linux, Mac, and Windows), Speech Recognition, Vehicle Repair/Upgrade, Fixing home appliances.
I LOVE doing projects, so I am constantly creating. Here are a few that I’ve done:

A system that uses speech recognition to turn on a lamp, speakers, and an old turntable. Then a toy robotic arm that I hacked places a needle onto the vinyl. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFRGhSsx...
A few more: A home made sprinkler system for my mom, a wifi/ ethernet bridge with a raspberry pi, a robotic hand that mimics my finger’s movement, etc.
I have fixed probably everything in my entire house/ friend’s houses at some point or another. Here’s the first few that come to mind: Macbooks (various), windows laptops, washing machines, toilets, sinks, tables, chairs, cars (Honda, Ford, Toyota), security systems, etc
I was on the front page of arduino.cc which is a sentence I can’t believe even as I’m typing it. I was also featured on Hackster, Hackaday, and many other websites for my project involving starting Jeep with a speech recognition system.
I love people and getting to know them. I am very active in the awesome community at the University of Memphis Engineering Technology department. Currently I am also in an axe throwing league.
My current hobbies include building things, upgrading cars, watching movies, listening to music, and gardening.
