I’m a UMass Dartmouth student and I’m taking up Data Science in my Sophmore year of college.
I chose Data Science because it fits my interest in computers as well as mathematics very well. In the future, I aspire to be able to work with autonomous vehicles and create algorithms to lead autonomous transportation to a better future.
The amount of experience I having repairing things is minimal but the most that I’ve ever done was watching short tutorials on how to fix small electronics and such. I’ve done some other repair jobs on more household things like pipes, tile, etc…
Bridge Building Project
In high school senior year, I worked on one of my most impressive projects. This project consisted of 16 students working together to design, draw and CAD a 16-foot long bridge that in the end was able to hold all 16 of us up which we calculated to be around 2300 pounds. This project was very enjoyable and took a lot of teamwork for it to come together but overall this is one of my favourite projects I’ve ever worked on.
In my free time I love to bike ride it’s a very relaxing thing to do. To go into more depth on biking, in the spring in summer I like to go mountain biking as well. When I’m not out I tend to game with the extra time I have.
Sometimes I build computers for friends and others. I also like to code and teach myself new things.
