Hey y'all! My name is Ava Alexia Riojas and I'm a freshman at the University of North Texas.

I was born and raised in San Antonio Texas. I've lived there my entire life up to this year and I'm so excited to start my new college journey.

I'm majoring in mechanical engineering. I don't have much experience as far as repairs, but I'm eager to learn and gain more knowledge and experience in the field. My goal as a freshman is to gain more hands-on experience and determine specifically what path I want to take my career. I'm currently interested in pursuing automotive design.

I'm looking forward to contributing to iFixit any way I can.

Hobbies/Interests

• I'm an athlete and have played volleyball since I was in the sixth grade. I've played for many club teams through the years and recently just made the UNT women's club volleyball team! I love competition and teamwork; I live for the feeling of working together to accomplish something.
• I love to work out and stay active. Going to the gym is one of my favorite hobbies.
• I enjoy hanging out with my close friends.
