I have solved it ! The battery wasn’t plugged in all the way (properly). This is why the error code might have been occurring but without replicating this I can’t be certain. BUT, if you have the same issue check the battery is legit or plugged in properly.
I would try looking at the LVDS cable and the port on the logic board. Failing this it you have a multimeter then you can locate the backlight chipset and test that. You should be able to find a schematic on the web somewhere now.
