Hello, I’m not familiar with the 5 wire picture you posted but i repaired a few turtle beach headsets in my days and if i’m not mistaken on your turtle beach …The red is right audio and green left audio. The copper wire is ground , the red/green is mic and the copper around that wire is also ground. You can solder a new 3.5 mm jack to these wires. The jack has four soldering points (starting from top to bottom) where 1=left audio 2=right audio 3 = the two grounds and 4=mic. hope this helps, Luis
Aside from enabling ADB mode in developer options you can’t really do anything to that firmware at this time. You can’t unlock the bootloader to install a custom ROM and no ROOT at this time. You can however install the google play store, just google “google play store on fire xda” and there’s a straight forward tutorial on how to install it. From there you can install a launcher to give it an Android look. When not using the table enable airplane mode to avoid auto OTA updates.
Does it let you get to the reset menu? (1) Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the EJECTbutton (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console. (2) Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. (3) Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart If done correctly it should take you to the menu screen. There you can properly restart it or reset it.
i looked everywhere myself with no luck. I ended up buying a “as is for parts” August lock from ebay that i was able to win the bid for $33 dollars including shipping. I used the good parts to repair mines. This is probably not the best answer you were looking for but i thought i share my experience since no one else answered. Good luck.
