Was the laptop dropped or did it get wet at all?

If not, try a power refresh and check if this resolves the problem.

Disconnect the charger from the laptop (if connected.

Remove the battery from the laptop (here’s how [guide|100119])

Press and hold the laptop’s Power button for 30 seconds and then release it

Reinsert the battery

Reconnect the charger to  the laptop and switch on the charger.

Turn on the laptop in the normal manner and see if it starts OK.
