Hi @latenightp68108
Does the laptop turn on OK and work when the charger is connected?
If so the battery may be faulty and need replacing.
-With the laptop turned on create a [https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/generate-battery-report-windows-10|battery report] to check the status of the battery.

When you have the report, compare the ''Design Capacity'' value versus the ''Full Charge Capacity'' value. For a good battery they should nearly be the same value. if the Full Charge capacity value is <40% of the Design capacity it may be advisable to replace the battery.
Here's the ifixit [guide|149792] guide, that will help.
Search online for AP18E7M¹ to find battery suppliers that suit you best.

+Hi @latenightp68108
+
+Try a power refresh in case it is a corrupted BIOS that is preventing the laptop from working.
+
+Disconnect the charger from the laptop and then open the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard.
+
+You don't have to remove the battery, just disconnect it. See the battery removal guide linked above.
+
+Next, ''press and hold the laptop's Power button for a full 30 seconds and then release it.''
+
+Reconnect the battery cable, reassemble the laptop and connect the charger.
+
+If the laptop starts to charge, allow it to fully charge before attempting to turn on the laptop.
+
+Once charged try turning it on.
+
+If it does turn on OK etc, there ''may'' be a message about the date and time being incorrect. This is normal as the BIOS has been reset back to its factory default state. Once the date and time have been corrected, the message won't appear again on startup.
+
+Also if any user definable settings have been altered in BIOS by you to suit whatever operating requirements you have, then these will have to be set again as well.
+
+If it still doesn't work then there's a problem on the motherboard and further testing would be required.
