Does anyone have a guide to replace the iPad 3 Screen?

Hi there,

My friend recently cracked the glass of his iPad 3rd Gen but it looks like the Digitizer is fine. I was wondering if anyone has a guide to replace the glass screen, tips, advise ect ect...

I've also heard that the replacement is similiar to an iPad 2, can anyone confirm this?

The glass is the digitizer as far as the repair goes. The repair instructions are very similiar. Enough so that you can use them to do the repair. Use a heat gun or hot blow dryer to make removing the glass easier. Like my daddy told me if it don't fit don't force it. Good luck and take your time.
