Whining sound while runing.
Is it normal for this whinney sound to come from my clamshell?
Also, is it possible to use another network adapter instead of the airport card?

Your hard drive is probably about to go. I would back up my important data ASAP. There are USB wireless dongles you can use.

Thanks a lot. I appreciate your reply. I found my Lime Green Clamshell in the trash without the power supply. Just bought one and it started right up. Very happy to have found it!
