How to fix loose top cover of case?

Out of a sudden a gap on the right edge of the top cover appeared. Any suggestions to fix that? An Apple retailer mentioned super glue. I am not sure if this is the best way to fix it. It's my working machine, so I don't want take any risk of additional damage. Thanks!
