Does the iPhone 4s and 4 use the same mid frame?
I have searched all over for an answer to this question and have yet to find any answers. I have a broken iphone 4s GSM and i need to replace the metal mid frame.

They look quite similar but in fact there is a pretty huge difference. After having Antenna Gate global issue, Apple decided to restructure iPhone 4 in later that year hence the later model of iPhone 4 looks exactly same like iPhone 4S but still they are not the exact ones in internal architecture. Meaning, if you have iPhone 4S and purchased iPhone 4 mid frame, that not gonna be compatible though externally it may look exactly same. The screws and minor settings differ quite a lot when you have to reseat the components. Therefore, please have the exact mid frame part you are intending to replace for.
