No image but machine works
My Imac works fine with external screen but not have image on main screen.

Your problem lies in the internal display chain. Look at the tags on the right, you could have a bad cable, a bad inverter, or a bad LCD... checking/replacing the display cable is easiest and cheapest fix I suggest you start there.
