I changed the screen of my HTC One X because it was broken and when I plugged the new it worked great. When I reassembled the phone the backlight was not working anymore. Then I tried with another new screen and the problem was still there. Where this can come from if it's not from the screen ? Should I send it in for repair ?

The FPC connector may be broken, so that the wire looses connection.

I have done that myself and resoldered the new connector. Though, it requires some soldering experience.
If you are lucky, it could be that the clip that holds the wire is damaged or misplaced. Open your One X and check. The fpc connector is the connector he is de-connecting at 3.51 in this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8SpHbhzL....

una pregunta cual es El conector FPC??? yo desarme mi htc one x para cambiarlo de pantalla porq la primera se me habia roto luego de esto compre una nueva y la cambie correctamente pero el boton de encendido se quedo al revez .... :( tubeque desarmarlo denuevo para corregir el error y al desarmar nuevamente daaÑe el flex de la pantalla por lo que tube que comprar una nueva el problema es que al conectar la nueva pantalla ya no daba imagen y aveces daba imagen pero se veia con muy poca luz y se congelaba la imagen total q aveces no bota imagen pero la placa sigue funcionanto puedo usar wifi musica pero sin imagen quisiera saber si hay solucion a mi problema por aqui en peru pregunte a un tecnico y dijo q era el conetor de la placa el q bota imagen q el seguro no cogia bien al flex por eso el celular pierde imagen ....!!! agradeceria su respuesta el celular es un htc one x actualizado a jelly bean 4.2.2 y esta libre de fabrica y no lo quiero perder...
