Not so black screen
I have the samsung galaxy s4 and whenever the phone hits any black or very dim part of a game or movie the phone shows a brownish color.

If you think it's defective, you should contact Samsung or your mobile provider for a warranty replacement. You should be well within any warranty period, considering how new the phone is.

That is most certainly a defect in the lcd and I would contact your provider if under contract and if not you can always find a local cell phone repair shop.
