How About Combining iPhone 3GS with Newer Parts?

Hello this might be a little bit sounding Stupid , but i was thinking in mind , my iphone 3gs is already pretty old , its abit to expensive to buy the new iphone's , so how about just buying the new campera from the iphone 5 on your site , and replacing it , is this even possible or not. my guess is not by seeing the two cable connectors on the camera on the iphone 5 , and only 1 connector on the iphone 3gs , but i still want to be sure by asking this if this is possible .

Thanks for asking! We always love to hear about people trying new things with their devices. Unfortunately, it is not possible to install the iPhone 5's camera into the iPhone 3GS. The cameras are different sizes, physically, and the connectors are in different locations.

If you are looking for a camera upgrade, the difference in camera quality between the 3GS and the 4S is considerable, and you can usually find a cheap iPhone 4S on eBay. Some of them are really cheap, and may only need a simple repair.
