Siri not working after screen replacement

This one is really puzzling me. I did a screen repair on my personal iPhone 5. No big deal everything works fine except I notice that now Siri, and the voice dictation feature no longer work. I don't know how this could have possibly happened from a screen repair as I didn't touch anything at all besides the screen and associated ribbon cables. Speaker phone works just fine, which is also weird. Help!

Had same problem. The mic next to the ear piece speaker want proportioned in the rubber grommet properly. The microphone is a hollow pointed pin with a square base that has a flex cable that folds back over itself. There is a rubber grommet that has a rectangle slot for the earpiece speaker to fit into with a small circle spot next to it. The microphone goes into the Circle spot. It's a pain to get in but after I did Siri and dictation work great. Has something to do with nude cancellation. IPhone 5c.

I have an iPhone SE and just replaced the display with one from ifixit and after turning it on, realized that everything works great except for Siri and the voice dictation. What can I do to fix this? I don’t want to just start digging around in my phone to look for a microphone... Is there any video out there explaining this?
