I recently fixed my iPhone and after testing everything I noticed that my Wifi barley works, even when I'm in the room with the router. I put on a leather back instead of the glass back, but even without a back, or with the glass back, the wifi is still weak. I have tried the freezer trick and reset the iPhone, but to no avail. I suspect the problem may be with the one 2.7 mm Phillips screw on the Logic Board Cover.

In the freezer :/ your only asking for more trouble don't be listening to people that try this absolute joke..
Try and tighten the screw on the top right corner just to the left of the screen assembly screw.
If that doesn't work you might have damaged the wifi connector if you replace that and still weak wifi then it's the wifi control chip.
Screws do not affect the iPhone 4S and it's wifi your thinking of the iPhone 4 which has a different setup
