How can I fix a gameboy if the screen is blank?

The screen does not show anything on it how do i fix it?

did anything happen to your GBA and what have you tried so far?

I just disassembled and put back together. I have a working light, but a grey screen and a few vertical lines. There weren't obvious issues with the ribbon cable. I'm assuming that I need to buy a new screen.

Try reseating the connectors, otherwise, replace it. Make sure it actually turns on even with the blank screen. If it doesn't, replace the battery.
