Problems after replacing the digitizer on an iPad 3 Wi-Fi

I just got the Front Panel Assembly from ifixit for an iPad 3 and replaced my broken digitizer with the new one. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until i powered on the device only to see that as soon as the lockscreen was loading the device was rebooting by itself.

On top of that, nothing seems to respond, especially the touch inputs.

I opened the iPad for a second time took out again the LCD and the digitizer and put them back in (so to be sure that everything was connected), but again the exact same problem.

Do i have to perform a restore to the device before it's able to use the new digitizer? Could i have damaged something else in the process so now it doesn't want to work? I was extremely careful, especially at the Wifi area.

Thanks in advance.

Nothing about the repair process should cause bootloop however I would make sure that you are grounded and ESD safe as to prohibit any outside factors from affecting your repair. I would also try disconnecting the battery and trying a soft reset on the device before restoring it.
