How do I attach a replacement battery?

3 tiny male connectors stayed attached to the old battery, therefore i need to know if i must solder? glue? or somehow attach the battery cable to the board to make a permanent connection

Assuming you don't break your display while detaching the battery from the display assembly, you will need to de-solder the original battery from the logic board and solder on the replacement.
