1 Whats the model number of the switch?
I need to replace the power switch on my blendtec it's faulty what's the model number so I can replace it.

I have the ES3 Total Blender Black. My power switch started getting stuck. I heard electricity popping in it, sounded like a loose connection. Eventually it got totally stuck in the off position.
I had to take apart my Blender to find the info but here is the switch.
Carling Technologies RA901 T85 rocker switch.

joshuadance was spot on for the part number and the place to buy it! It turned out to be one of the simplest home repair jobs I have ever done - the power to the switch are plug connectors that easily swap to the new switch, and the switch snaps in. The only tool needed for the job is a phillips screw driver to remove the two deeply recessed screws in the bottom of the base.

If you bought your blendtec after 2011, you have a 7 year warranty. If you bought from Costco, you have an 8 year warranty. Blendtec will either repair your base or send you a refurbished base that will continue on in the same warranty as original. Free shipping to return the malfunctioning base.

i have the same problem same model number must have a fault,not evrey happy as i thought that this was the best blender to get,hope that blendtec can solve my problem.

Since my Blendtec is out of warranty I went ahead and opened it up to see if I could figure out why the power was flickering on and off and crackling. It turned out to be a loose wire to the power switch. In fact, when I removed the bottom cover, the black power wire fell off the power switch altogether. An easy fix.

I have the same problem. My power switch doesn't seem to lock in place and will shut itself off. I have the model ES3 also.

I have the same problem, however no proof of purchase. I have lost the receipt and registration code and am looking to try to fix it myself rather than jump through the hoops of trying to go about replacing it. The power button just doesn't engage and so the blender won't turn on.
