hello i was wondering if you could help me, i sold a iPhone 6 about a week ago on ebay and now the buyer wants to return the phone saying it no longer powers on, I've checked the feedback and it shows he's brought a few main boards for the iPhone 6 before hand
how do i check the main board is the correct one for the phone if apple haven't included a serial number on the main board and the phone is completely dead?

I wonder the same question. I don't see the serial number sticker as in iPhone 5s and 5. Anyone?

I say take it to the Apple Store and see what they say about it. They may just replace the phone. Also check if it has water damage by opening it up. If so make a complaint with eBay. And there is no serial number on the actual board. I didn't think there was on the 5, 5c or 5s either?
If you take it to apple and they replace it I would make a mark on the board and take a picture of it then if you have it sent back again you know if it's yours or not.

On the 5, 5c, and 5s, there is a small, black sticker with serial number. It's located just above the frame that covers sim card.
