Ipad reboots randomly after IOS 8 install

Since installing IOS 8 on ipad 4 it will reboot to black screen with apple logo randomly during use. Also have to do hard reset to wake up some times. I have restored from backup, done factory reset and restored and done factory reset and not restored and no change in issue. How can I tell if this is a hardware issue? I have looked at the logs but can't make heads or tails of them. Any suggestions?

I am having the Same issue but also just kicking me out of apps. it seems to be a heat issue as it gets worse after its been on for awhile or using an app that is heavy with graphics (i have the issue with minion rush but not Finger Arts Solitaire)
