I tried to repair a broken screen, but I misplaced a part and now everything worked except that the screen does not seem to recognise touch and the volume buttons do not work TT.TT I attached a picture of it. Can somebody please tell me where this part is suppose to go.

This part has nothing to do with the problems you describe. This part belongs at the upper screw of the the battery connector. This part is placed at upper battery screw hole, the battery connector is placed over it and snapped down, then the upper screw is placed through the battery connector and then the hole of this part.
