Why is there a rattling sound inside my device?

Whenever the device is shifted in any direction you can hear a rattling noise. It sounds like something might be loose.

Has the device ever been dropped? Could be a loose screw or broken piece of plastic inside moving around.

I would open the device and see maybe it is something simple that can be reconnected.
