The Last Usb device connected to the computer malfunctioned

Try:

Start->Control Panel->Hardware and Sound->Device Manager.

Uninstall the malfunctioned device driver. Reconnect.

Also consider trying other USB ports.

i’ve fixed it by going into device manager and disabling and then re enabling the usb host its self. (note, if you are using usb for keyboard and mouse support they will become disabled until you restart your computer again). i wouldn’t use that said usb device again if iot does it too many times as its usually a surge protection situation.
